Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy governs the manner in which The Academy for Your Highness, herein referred to as 'the School" and "this site" collects, uses, maintains and discloses information collected from users (each, a “Student”) of the School. This Privacy Policy applies to the School and all Courses offered by the School.
Personal identification information
We may collect personal identification information from Students in a variety of ways, including, but not limited to, when Students enroll in the School or a Course within the School, subscribe to a newsletter, and in connection with other activities, services, features, or resources we make available in our School. Students may visit the School anonymously. We will collect personal identification information from Students only if they voluntarily submit such information to us. Students can refuse to supply personal identification information but doing so may prevent them from engaging in certain School related activities.
1.How will The School use your Personal Information? Your Personal Information will be used to provide you with promotional and informative materials and offers and deliver the products and services you can purchase or subscribe to from the Site. Specifically:
1.1. Your credit card information will not be processed by The School but instead by third party Stripe and Paypal. For more information you may use the links below;

1.2. Your name and e-mail address are collected but will not actually be stored on the Site. Any information captured will be processed through third party website Convertkit. For more information see link below;

1.3. If you subscribe to The School's newsletter your Personal Information will be used to send the newsletter to you;
1.4. The School may use your contact information to send you emails about promotions, special events and other marketing information. You can opt not to receive these emails from us by either clicking “unsubscribe” at the bottom of the email when you receive it or by sending an email that includes your email address and a request that you not receive our promotional emails;
1.5. The School may use your Personal Information to respond when you submit a question or suggestion to us, or when you request assistance regarding the Service you purchased;
1.6. The School may share your information if we believe in good faith that disclosure of your information is required to protect your safety or the safety of others, to investigate a fraud, or to respond to a government, judicial or other legal request or to comply with the law;
1.7. The School may also share certain aggregated, anonymized information with a third-party provider in order to assist us in improving the Site.
2.Privacy Rules. The School and abides by all relevant Canadian laws in all aspects of our operations. As such, we abide by all the rules of CASL (Canadian Anti-Spam Laws) and the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). 3.Do Not Track Signals. The School currently does not recognize or respond to browser-initiated Do Not Track (DNT) signals, as the Internet industry is currently still working on Do Not Track standards and there is no accepted standard on how to respond to such signals.
4.Analytics. The School keeps the following information from your visits to our webpage:
4.1. Visitor information to improve our customer engagement which tells us where and when people visit the Site and how long they stay there; and
4.2. IP information for website and server security.
5. Cookies. The Site uses ‘cookies’ to keep a record of the number of times you’ve visited the Site and how you interacted with the Site during each visit. In addition to this, the Site also uses cookies which are not absolutely essential for your use of the Site. Your continued use of the Site serves as consent for these cookies.
5.1. A cookie is a small text file that gets sent by the servers of the Site to your hard drive and can only be read and interpreted by the Site’s servers. No Personal Information is stored in the cookie and there is nothing on it which can identify you personally.
5.2. Why do we use cookies? Cookies help the Site understand how you interact while visiting the Site and what your preferences are and thus can improve your experience on the Site. If you do not want cookies from the Site, simply adjust the settings in your web browser to disable cookies. This may change the way you access the Site, but of course it is your choice to do so.
6. Disclosure of Personal Information. The Academy For Your Highess will NEVER sell or license any Personal Information we collect from you. The School is not liable for any disclosure of your Personal Information by any third party, particularly the ones outlined above. By purchasing the services and products offered by The School, you agree to be bound to and consent to the provisions of our third parties’ privacy policies.
7. Jurisdiction. This privacy policy and the use of the Site are governed by the laws of Canada and the Province of Ontario. If a dispute arises under this policy, we agree to first resolve it through binding arbitration to take place in the Province of Ontario.
8. Your Consent. By choosing to provide The School with your Personal Information you are consenting to its collection, use and disclosure in accordance with the principles outlined in this Privacy Policy. If you are under the age of 18, you must not provide any Personal Information to us without the consent of your parent or guardian, or as otherwise provided for by applicable law.
9. Protecting Your Privacy. The School is committed to protecting your privacy. Security measures, such as using passwords on servers and computers, help to protect against unauthorized access, disclosure, copying, use or modification or your private information. Online transactions are completed using third party applications outlined above. Please refer to the third parties’ privacy policies, of which links have been provided above, for clarification on how your transaction and Personal Information will be handled. The School makes no promises, warranties or representations about the manner in which your Personal Information is handled by third parties and bears no liability whatsoever for their use of them.
10. Internet Use Discretion Advised. The internet is, by its nature, inherently open and subject to interception of information. We cannot guarantee that the information you provide to The School over the internet or otherwise will not be intercepted by third parties while it is being communicated by means that are outside of The School’s control.
11. Verifying and Amending Your Personal Information. The School tries to ensure that all Personal Information about you that is in our possession is accurate, complete and up-to-date. Please contact us to advise us of any changes to your Personal Information. You may request access to the Personal Information held by The School at any time or seek to make corrections to it.

13. How we use collected information
The School may collect and use Students’ personal identification information for the following purposes:

We may use information in the aggregate to understand how our Students as a group use the services and resources provided in our School. -

We may use Student email addresses to send Students information and updates pertaining to their order. Student email addresses may also be used to respond to Student inquiries, questions, or other requests.
14.Sharing your personal information
We do not sell, trade, or rent Student personal identification information to others.
15. Third party websites
Student may find advertising or other content in our School that link to the websites and services of our partners, suppliers, advertisers, sponsors, licensors and other third parties. We do not control the content or links that appear on these websites and are not responsible for the practices employed by websites linked to or from our School. In addition, these websites or services, including their content and links, may be constantly changing. These websites and services may have their own privacy policies and customer service policies. Browsing and interaction on any other website, including websites which have a link to our Student, is subject to that website's own terms and policies.
16.Changes to this Privacy Policy
The School has the discretion to update this Privacy Policy at any time. We encourage Students to frequently check this page for any changes. You acknowledge and agree that it is your responsibility to review this Privacy Policy periodically and become aware of modifications.
16. Your acceptance of these terms
By enrolling in the School, you signify your acceptance of this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to this Privacy Policy, please do not enroll in the School. Your continued enrollment in the School following the posting of changes to this Privacy Policy will be deemed your acceptance of those changes.
